[SCREAMING MAN] Late 20s.  Screaming for his life as he is attacked and feasted upon by Hep-V vampires.  No lines just screaming for his life.  CO-STAR

I’m assuming that the attacked people are victims at the get together where Sookie was at the end of the season just as the Hep-V vamps were approaching. Sookie must be nearby since she will be able to hear their thoughts.

Of more interest is the casting for the Moroccan bar.  To me, that sounds like a tie-in to whatever is going on with Eric.  We know that Eric’s going to have a “love interest” (i.e., someone he is romping around naked with) in episode 2 who is a Frenchwoman named Sylvie.  I leapt to the interpretation that this meant Eric was in France, but perhaps the scenes in Morocco will be establishing where Eric has been the past few months and he just happens to be hanging out with Frenchwoman Sylvie. Either that, or Pam is looking for Eric in Morocco that will lead her to France.  I think we will most likely not actually see Eric until episode 2 at the earliest.

One last tidbit from the episode: the title would seem to be from a Tom Waits’ song, “Jesus Gonna Be Here.” The video for that is very TB-like in itself, but doesn’t seem to tell us much beyond that everyone has a sense of desperately hanging on, waiting for divine intervention.
