Episode 6.7 *spoilers*

The Spoiler Fairy at SpoilerTV threw out a new tidbit today with information for episode 6.7.  Below the Read More for those who don’t want to be accidentally spoiled.

From SpoilerTV:

Episode 6.07 of True Blood is called, “The Funeral.” There will be a flashback to 1665 and the Plague, and the role of King Charles II is being cast. In the present day, there will be a scene set in a Tru Blood factory. Also, we’ll meet Nicole’s mother, Mary, who will recur in 2 episodes.

If the flashback is to 1665, we could be seeing some of the older vamps we currently know such as Eric, Godric or Nora.  The new vampire Violet is also old enough to have been in England in 1665.  Maybe this is her story of how she was turned?

As for the musical choices, one possible choice would be the Band of Horses’ song “The Funeral.”   Video and lyrics below is the cover by Liz Lee, which seems more in the True Blood style.

I’m coming up only to hold you under
I’m coming up only to show you wrong
And to know you is hard; we wonder
To know you all wrong, we were.

Really too late to call,
So we wait for morning to wake you
That’s all we got
And to know me as hardly golden
Is to know me all wrong, they were.

At every occasion, I’ll be ready for the funeral
At every occasion, once more, is called the funeral
Every occasion, oh I’m ready for the funeral
At every occasion, oh, one billion day funeral

I’m coming up only to show you down,
For I’m coming up only to show you wrong.

To the outside: the dead leaves, lay on the lawn
‘Fore they died, had trees to hang there upon.
