OnLocationVacations is reporting that True Blood will be filming on location in LA on March 18 and 19. Details below the Read More.
When we last posted about True Blood, Mark Hudis had just stepped in as showrunner and now, just two months later, someone else has taken over the reins.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hudis is being replaced by long-time True Blood writer and producer Brian Buckner. What effect will this have on the show? Guess we’ll have to wait and see when the show returns this summer.
In the meantime, we can look forward to True Blood filming on location at 516 S Rimpau Blvd and 526 S Rimpau Blvd in Los Angeles on 03/18/2013 – 03/19/2013 (7:00 AM – 12:00 AM).
526 S. Rimpau is what has been identified as the Bellefleur mansion, I believe. (Top photo)
But what is 516 S. Rimpau (middle photo) supposed to represent?
What is is NOT is the governor’s mansion, which was portrayed by 1365 S. Oakland Ave in Pasadena (bottom photo).
Any thoughts? Anyone recognize the middle home? I thought it might be Ben’s house, but if you zoom in in the Google map view, you can see that the posts of the front porch have some kind of intricate wrought iron, while the pictures with Anna Paquin and Rob Kazinsky show a squared-off plain (plane, if you will excuse the pun) column.
