Hollywoodland tidbits about 5.9 *spoilers*

Hollywoodland posted some spoilery commentary on tonight’s episode, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.”  Excerpt below the Read More.

In “https://i1.wp.com/www.highlighthollywood.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/anna-paquin-as-sookie-stackhouse1.jpgEverybody Wants to Rule the World,” as  the Authority proceeds with Lilith’s plan, Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) plots his escape, and with serious consequences. Gran (Lois Smith) directs Sookie (Anna Paquin) to a clue to her parents’ murderer. Fans will be shocked where this all leads eventually.  But she soon is happy that Jason told her to save her fairy powers.  An exhausted Andy (Chris Bauer) and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) search for leads to the identities of the people behind the shifter killings. Andy will face some major challenges, that may affect his sobriety on V. Alcide (Joe Manganiello) recalls his pack induction, and he regrets an earlier move. Arlene (Carrie Preston) gets caught in Terry (Todd Lowe) and Patrick’s (Scott Foley) crossfire, and leave it to Arlene not to know when to leave things alone.  And just wait to see Steve (Michael McMillian) getting a new pet.  Expect a howling good time! And Russell ensnares the Shreveport wolf pack in his secret new plan, that not even The Authority expects.

The former Sheriff Budd Dearbourne will play a part in revealing the secret as well. Plus, we’d better worry about the Holy war about to break out between the vampires and humans. Bill has moved into a dark place, and Eric remains the lone vampire on the side of humans, especially Sookie.   The profound revelations about Sookie and Jason’s parents will hit the two very hard, as well as Trubies, who are itching to know the identity of “Worlo!”

“Everybody Wants to Rule the World” was written by Raelle Tucker, and  directed by Dan Attias.

My thoughts: Bill, Bill, Bill!!!!!  “Shocking” and “profound revelations…that hit [Sookie and Jason] very hard”? I’m more confident than ever that Bill IS our mystery vamp!  Then the question becomes…will Sookie still be stupid and find forgiveness for him?  Or is this finally the deal-breaker that will pull her head out of her fairy behind where Bill is concerned? If they are joking about Steve Newlin’s new pet being a howling good time, let’s assume it could be a wolf.  Maybe he takes Emma? That would explain why Sam and Luna are later looking for her and why they would end up in the hands of the Authority.  And I love that Russell is revealing his true colors already.  Eric said he wanted to rule the world in season 3, and sure enough, now he has an opportunity. Yum!

  1. By doing the “teeth analysis” I have to believe it would be Bill and not Russell. He would have been an even newer vamp and probably in even less control. Plus this is pre-reveal. I’m sure even he probably didn’t put two and two together –because Sookie said her parents died in a flash flood and Bill knows that the folks on the bridge were killed by him, and not a flood. Oh…Bill! You’re in big, big trouble. There is no Statute of Limitations for murder! Pat

  2. Oh, I hadn’t even thought about the possibility that Bill might not know he killed Sookie’s parents. I was thinking that he has known about her all this time, but maybe not been sure how to find her until Hadley told Queen Sophie Anne about her telepathic cousin. When he first drank from Sookie, I would think he HAD to recognize the delicious taste of her blood even if it had been a long time since he smelled it. I’m really hoping that it reveals that he has really been all about her blood all this time. I think he did/does love her, but I think that the roots of that love have a lot more to do with her delicious taste than even he wants to admit. Compare that to Eric who has never been about biting her, no matter how often Bill has claimed that was the case. I just hope that Sookie doesn’t decide that Bill killing her parents is forgivable, too.
