After a preliminary discussion about his hair (which is going to be cut this week in prep for returning to True Blood), Joe Manganiello had this to say about his role in season 6:

“[It’s] racier,” he said. “My character’s taken over the wolf pack, so as an alpha, and a pack of dogs, you gotta regulate, you gotta set it straight with everybody so there’s some violence. It’ll be fun.”

Joe said the material he’s read for the new season amps things up.

“This is Season 6 and the first couple scripts I read – I think they’re doing a lot of stuff that they maybe held back on the past couple years,” he told Access. “They’re pretty wild. I think it’s going to be a pretty wild season.”

My thoughts: Given that this is True Blood, I have to wonder what JM means by “racier.”  Racier than frequently nude Jason the first season? Than the hot Sooric sex of season 4 and all the sexual shenanigans of season 5 (although no one I wanted to see get it on)? What could be racier? Unless he means for his character personally, in which case, I hope Alcide is being “racier” with Rikki as in the comic book series.  Also wondering what stuff ‘they maybe held back on the past couple of years.”  Sooric stuff?  Billith going crazy dark? What, what, what!?
